3-D Video Gaming is Nearer than We Think.

Nowadays, the best video games are the best thanks to the enormous TV’s and the high quality graphics which make you to be part of the game. But can you imagine 3-D gaming at our homes in computers and TV’s?

By the moment 3-D is only used for cinemas in new films such as Avatar although Panasonic and Samsung have already presented their televisions with 3-D systems although they’re quite expensive.

There are big gaming companies such as Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft who have started to investigate the 3-D technology. This gaming software will need special glasses so that our brain can join the different images of the different angles under only one image with 3-D effects.

But there is a disadvantage in introducing 3-D technology, the price rise. Modifying all the image cards and software will cost around $1000.

Some video consoles have already the processor needed such as the Play Station 3 but the problem is that by the moment there aren’t 3-D games. Nintendo also has planned to create the Nintendo 3DS which will have 3-D effects without the need of glasses.

However many companies are waiting to see how people respond to 3-D before starting designing new games and consoles.

And are there any health risks? Some people who watch 3-D films in the cinema say that because of the glasses they feel dizzy and have headaches and eye fatigue. Before continuing with 3-D many tests have to be made to see if there are risks of any kind.

But the idea of having 3-D in our games is bigger than the risks it can bring and this type of technology will start at the end of 2010.

Are you prepare for the new game experience?
